Michael grew up with a strong Christian heritage and because of this
heritage, heard the Gospel early, was saved and baptized. Growing up
in a ministering family (father is the president of BCH) “exposed me to
the reality of God's blessing and provision when we are in God's will.
One way God has specifically led throughout my life has been to give me a love of flying. As I earned flight ratings, my focus was
acquiring skills that would allow me the opportunity to be directly involved in using aviation to expedite church planting. This
solidified my recognition of God's call to missions.”

Michael has his Brazilian pilot’s license and pilots a float plane. While in the States he also learned to fly an ultra light plane
(parachute type). The Geurink family lives on a house boat. They are now in the States and plan to return to Brazil in May.
They are in need of increased support. .
